Aqua Fitness classes bring the energy and excitement of aerobics to the pool. Whether classes are conducted in shallow water where you can stand, or in deep water with float-belts, the water enables you to have a cardiovascular and resistance work-out at your own level – even if that’s different from the person beside you. You can easily adjust the intensity to suit yourself by changing how fast you move in the water and classes are structured to accommodate the super-fit all the way through to people with sports or other injuries, disabilities and health problems.
Aqua Circuits
Aqua Circuits are group exercise classes in the water for people who like feel more comfortable developing strength and condition than keeping time to the music. Again this class is suitable for a wide range of abilities, and is conducted in shallow or deep water. You don’t need to be a strong swimmer to participate.
Aquaphobic and Beginner's Swimming Lessons
Aquaphobic and Beginner’s Swimming Lessons are provided free of charge to the over 60’s because we know that some people just didn’t get a chance to learn to swim. Take the time to develop your skills so you can access this sport – it’s never too late to learn.
